Internship Book→ Karol at the Nasher Museum of Art

A book documenting my summer internship at the Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University. While at the Nasher I created designs using the brand guidelines to make signage, membership cards, printed material, and an exhibition campaign. I received first-hand experience under the Head of Design, Joel Peter Johnson, on how a visual identity is applied in an art museum. I used both my design skills and art history knowledge during my experience.

One of the big projects I worked on was creating a museum campaign for the exhibitionBy dawn’s early light.” I was tasked on creating the exhibitions posters, ads, banners, wall designs, as well as communicate and work with other departments such as the curatorial team and the organizer of the exhibition, Xuxa Rodríguez. The wall design I created is now in the exhibition and will stay up until May 2025.
